My Italian colonial past
One has to sit at the bottom of oneself, look at oneself and let oneself be looked at, recognise and be recognised. Acceptance does not mean surrending, and certainly not surrending to the centre. Acceptance is a necessary step to deconstruct the centre, to separate from it and regain the edge of the margins as a symbol and practice of a possible individual and especially collective transformation.
Il mio passato coloniale italiano
Bisogna sedersi sul fondo di se stesse, guardarsi e lasciarsi guardare, riconoscere ed essere riconosciute. Accettare non significa arrendersi, consegnarsi al centro. Accettare è un passo necessario per decostruire il centro, per separarsene e riguadagnare il margine come simbolo e pratica di una possibile trasformazione individuale e soprattuto collettiva.
Thoughts on the discipline of hope
There is so much that did not happened in 2020 that will not be happening in the 2021. There are people waiting for things to go back into the known, people doing their best as well as their worst to keep the gain and share the less or the most.
