Feminism is a political statement, and more importantly political practice, way of thinking, understanding and public articulation of practically every issue of life.

If I try to translate this virtually, in Internet language so to say, I can state that feminism should be the basic, non-exclusive, element of the code that constitutes every possible algorithm. The human mind-intelligence is embodied in the real world. If the real world is sexist, it is very likely that most of the technology that develops will have the virus of sexism in its core as well. U aprilu 2014. Asocijacija za progresivne komunikacije, APC, organizovala je Globalni sastanak o rodu, seksualnosti i internetu u Port Dicksonu, Malezija, u prisustvu 50 učesnica sa šest kontinenata , uključujući aktivistkinje za ženska prava i pitanja roda, LGBTIQ pokrete,organizacija za prava u vezi sa internetom i tehnologijom i zagovornice ljudskih prava. Cilj sastanka bilo je premošćivanje jaza između feminističkih/LGBTIQ pokreta i pokreta za internet prava, te razmatranje ukrštanja i mogućnosti za partnerstvo.

Globalni sastanak je koristio proces suradnje kako bi postavio pitanje:
‘Kao feministkinje, kakav internet želimo, i šta treba da uradimo da ga takvim napravimo?’

From the 16th to the 18th of April I attended a pre-event to the 12th AWID forum that was focusing on the intersection between information and communication technology, the internet and feminist practices, and that was interrogating privacy and security in online spaces and on our devices.

As the day passed, I saw myself surrendering to the fact that there is nothing good in the laziness of a routine that prevents us from thinking about the technological abuse that we as women activists can suffer and make others suffer. When on the 18th April we had the feminist tech exchange I understood that I need, I have to anonymise myself.
