loops

Have step in a loop
a senseless loop
and while I loop
a girl stubbornly
goes around my table
with her bike

The table is in the loop
we are in that together
not the girl
she is circling around,
across and away
such is the power of young girls

Am I thinking of dreaming
or am I dreaming of thinking
the limited fund of words
do not make neither of the two
profound or necessary

yet they are, the thinking and the dreaming
and because of them being I do become
for a moment the dreamer for the next the thinker

there is a door
and behind it
there is the same
door and so again
door behind door
behind door behind

Am I telling a story or living in the story someone is telling? And
what would be different in the story I tell and in the one is told?
